today i got 2 new fish a lawnmower blenny and a domino damsel. i placed them in my tank and both are doing fine so far but the fish that was already in there, an electric damsel is bullying them. what are some of the best ways to get rid of the aggression? i was thinking about pulling the electric damsel from the tank for an hour in hopes it would confuse him when he was places back into the tank. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What size is your tank? Damsels are quite aggressive, and won't take nicely to sharing a tank. You could rearrange the rock, then have a fresh start with territories. Sometimes that works. Sometimes time outs can work as well, but for longer than an hour. More like a few days.

If the tank is too small, they may never get along.

I highly doubt you will be able to get them to peacefully coexist in 30 gallons. You can try moving rock around and time outs, but one may end up being killed. That's just the way damsels tend to be!

    I hope it works out!!
