I do see this behavior in the male and he is allowed to come out and eat but and swim but then she chases him back to the corner.

If for some reason the smaller clown does not display these passive responses and the larger clown begins to actually cause physical injuries, the smaller clown hides in the corner, stops eating or is breathing hard then you should intervene and remove one or the other.
No physical injury yet but will watch closely.

They will more than likely work it out and this behavior may occur as they mature and re-establish the pecking order.

Sometimes though the female decides the male or smaller fish is not worthy and she will kill it.
If I see any physical injury at all I will remove her.

She is also going after my snail. I have seen it twice in the last two days. If she is not harassing the male then she is at the snail.

GROG if she goes after the cleaner shrimp she is out the door. My Cleaner shrimp is so much fun to watch and my favorite of the tank. He is nuts at feeding time!
