That's basically what I done- just chased him under a rock with the net, then propped it where he could see it. He wouldn't come out until I removed it.

Consider this, if it wasn't attacking you and just staying cowered in the corner, you'd want to worry. Most new fish act like that, but when they establish (i.e. act like your tank is their home) this indicates they are happy and healthy. Well done, and keep up the good work. ;D

(Personally, my clown ALWAYS attacks the skin between my fingers just above the first knuckles, (the webs) it hurts like hell, and I jump every time. Smart little devil she is, knows right where the tender spot is.... LOL

Lol I guess your right. Mine also bites the web of my fingers and I get into big arguments about how I feed him and he should be grateful. My cardinal just watches..

HAHA, here's a little too much info than most people want to know. When ever I need to stick my hand in the tank, I already know I'm going to get bit. Instead of getting angry, I Grit my teeth, and push my hand in front of the Dominatrix Clown. In doing so, I let her get out her aggression, and in turn work out my jumpy reaction when it happens. Kind of a game of chicken if you will. Call me weird, but I prefer to conquer fears this way...LOL It's also funny as hell when my wife walks by and says, "What the hell are you doing?"

These threads always make me chuckle.

I wear shoulder length gloves, picked them up at Harbor Freight pretty cheap.

I've had my wife come up and point the net at them to keep them in their rock cave until I'm done.
