It seems my true percula has grown agressive. It used to be really peaceful and kept to itself in its host anemone.

Now anytime a fish would go anywhere near its anemone, he'd start fighting them off. It would even start biting on my hand whenever my hand would go near its anemone when i'm fixing some rockscape.

Any idea why a Percula would become this agressive all of a sudden?

Welcome to the wonderful world of clowns. Sometimes they just do this at adulthood.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It's the nature of the fish. As the become reproductively mature most types of clown fish become very aggressive. I have to remove mine to work on the tank, and she will try to jump out of the water to bite me, that is how bad it is.

I agree, my clowns were pretty peaseful and as they grew older they became more agressive.
Now they arent as agressive because i moved them to another tank but they still will defend their territory.

    Normal behavior unfortunatelly.

Darn, and I was hoping it was temporary because it laid eggs or something.
