ive received the missing membrane to my RO unit today, it came already installed in the"thing".. you know where the membrane goes..... and i couldnt take it out so that i could put it in mine.
i switched them up so that i didnt have to take out the membrane since its stuck with no reasonable way out (i think)... everything was good until i turned on the water..

the fist filled.. then the second... then nothing. the third was filling it self slow........... then where the membrane is located it started to spray water out of the cap:confused: not much but it was enough for it to show that something was wrong. i dont know what it is.. can you guys help? how do i take the membrane out of the thing?(dont know what it is called but thats where the membrane is supposed to go..)

the red rube is dripping a little (which is supposed to be the waste)
the blue nothing ( thats supposed to be the good water)
and the cap is spraying water. and im sure its not supposed to:angry:

You can use pliers or some other tool to grab and pull on the plastic membrane
product tube. Now you only need to pull for about an inch. After that inch the
membrane will fly out if you keep pulling. Take the new membrane out of the
bag, lubricate the o-rings at the end with water proof silicone lubricant.
If you do not have any silicone, use some dish soap. The dish soap will make
the o-rings slippery enough to install them correctly. Insert the membrane into the
membrane vessel, make certain that it seats in the connection at the bottom. The
membrane should fit just about flush with the end of the vessel, when correctly seated. Replace
the cap and reconnect the tube.
