Ahh mh question

I have decided to go with a 90 gallon tank thats 24'' deep. I am trying to figure out what all I need to set up some MH lighting. I am looking at IceCap 250W Double EndedHQI Metal Halide Retro Kit - AquaCave# . My question is.. do I need a pendant or is that the complete setup?

Oh it always says "Does not come with Molex connector" What is this?

I *believe* that comes with an enclosure for hanging from the ceiling, but I am not 100% sure. I would call if you don't get any answers here.
BTW for a 90 your going to need 2-3 of those

 

That is not a pendant, it is a cheap 30$ ebay "reflector". Its pretty much useless (yes, I have already bought one). Now that I have bought lumenbright reflectors I am a STRONG STRONG advocate of those reflectors. Take a look at one of 3reef's sponsors websites. ReefSpecialty. Here is their retrofits, for just a small amount more you get a MUCH better pendant that you can hang from the ceiling or inside your canopy (need a tall canopy.) I sound like a salesman, but just want you to get the bang for your buck. - Reef Specialty

 

I was checking out the Coral Vue 250W Dual DE Finished Pendant Complete Retro Kit and I need some clearification! It says the bulbs are DE but it comes with "SE Pendants with Mogul Socket."what does this mean?

I think its a typo, the SE kit will come with SE and mogul sockets, the DE will come with DE and the DE sockets.
