I woke up this morning and i see everything in my tank is normal.my fish were there swimming happily, coral banded shrimp was hiding behind his fav. rock and lil blue legged hermit crabs are munching as alays. But i noticed that my blood shrimp is not in his normal place.I started to search for him and i noticed some molting skins around i picked them out.so as i was picking them out i see my blood shrimp but hes in odd odd place.I stare at him and he seems fine but i realize the guy is missing his legs.AHHHHHHH. I dont know who did it.

    Witnesses:
    2 Percula clownfish
    1 flame angel
    1 Coral banded shrimp
    8 blue leg hermit crabs
    4 big turbo snails
    1 Yellowtail Blue Damsel
    1 Blue Damsel
    2 emerald crabs
1 uknown very small starfish(showed up after some new LR came)
    1 sebae anenome(SICK)

any suspects that you can see?

the newest arrivals are the emerald crabs.(3 days)

Emeralds have been known to be brutal if not fed & what better thing to feed on than a freshly molted shrimp.

Emeralds are not reef safe. I witnessed one eating an abalone. Shell in one claw, eating with the other. ALL crabs are omnivores, not herbivores. If they can catch it, they will EAT it!!!

if the shrimp was molting, it was blind and in a weaken state.
