So the wife tells me a couple of weeks ago that she's going to her sisters for an all day and night chick flick/daiquiri marathon and that I'm going to have to find something to occupy my time. Ho hum, what to do? i get up this morning and head north to the mystical land of Wisconsin. i paid a visit to our very own Horkn to see first hand how his woody is shaping up. i brought him a tank warming gift of liquid appreciation for all the great work he's done and the guy gives me a frag of his amazing Green Bird's Nest! not only is he a gentleman and a scholar, this dude is wicked cool. he let me stand around and drink beer for five hours whilst regaling me with stories and sage-like advise. i left him and journeyed south into Milwaukee to a chain-smoking reefer whose tank, honest to goodness, had more coral than water in it. i squinted my way through the haze well enough to pick out six more frags (three zoas, duncan, blasto and some super gnarly monti undata). when i got back i floated the coral, threw in a Bond film, ate an entire pizza and ordered a new Phoenix 14k bulb. oh yeah, and Iowa destroyed Iowa State. best. day. ever!

And don't worry, Luna. I'll slap some pics of those corals up tomorrow when they've opened up

Sounds like a perfect day to me, esp. without the "ball & chain" hovering around, if you know what I mean. All you need to make it a complete day was to going fishing;). I..........We will be waiting for the pics.

Glad you had a good time zj!

If I had planned it out better, the glass could have been put in, and I would have finished the bottom half of the stand for the 75g sump to sit on...and I could be filling the sump in preparation for the woody to get put o the stand. Oh well, it was fun having you over. Next time you head up to Wisconsin, LMK.

My better half went shopping and ran errands that I usually do, like take the recycling in.
That was pretty nice of her, because it let me just shoot the crap with zj. Nice, huh?
