i have recently been seeing a few aiptasia popping up all over my tank........i have been pulling some out with tweezers and they keep coming back, i have tried squirting boiling water directly onto them, and i have tried giving them a shot of straight calcium.....nothing i try seems to kill them,.......

any tips on how to kill them throughout my tank at once or each individually? any suggestions work.......

Do you have any pepermint shrimp? A reefing buddy of my had few descent sized apt's in his 90g and the pepermints took care of them.

AiptasiaX works on the ones that you can get it on but others will pop up. I plaid this game for months then got 4 peppermint shrimp and I haven seen a an aiptasia since. Don't see the peppermint much either. They stay hidden in the back of the rock.

NEVER I mean NEVER pull on them. They will soon blow up into a giant population of epic proportions. lol

Aiptasia X works really well, I use it. Just squirt some right in there center and their gone. They even have a curved injector for ones in tricky places.

+1000 to the peppermint shrimp. Back in the day when I was a noob at this (still am in a lot of ways) aptasias were the first things that popped up in my tank and I got all excited about. By the time I figured out they were bad, I literally had probably a 100+ of those things... Put in two peppermints and a week later no more. haven't seen a single one since and I lost those peppermints ages ago. i dont know why anyone would bother with anything else unless you have something that would eat the shrimp.

They are scavengers and don't require any special attention. I put 4 small ones in my 150 and that is more that enough.

peppermint shrimp or Aptasia X should solve your problems. The shrimp are scavengers so they will feed on left over food (assuming you have fish you feed).
