Yes thats what i is. I used calcium in a syringe and injected it into them to kill them. Peppermint shrimps sometimes work as well. So do copperbands.

Without a doubt that is aptasia. I'm sorry to hear about your tank coming down with that nasty bug.

Wiggins Reef if that the only one that youve seen.... its definitely not the end of the world. Ive battled aiptasia for quite some time and finally got it under control with a copperband butterfly which should have been the first thing I should of used.

Joes juice works.... peppermints hit or miss. Aiptasia x is supposed to be a good tool in combat against aiptasia. But dont worry.... aiptasia probably the number one bad hitchhiker there is. You have ONE SMALL aiptasia ;)

    peppermint shrimp to the rescue!!!

i would try a couple of them before jumping to chems. i have heard most chems just kill them off temporarily, and they will return in a couple weeks. throw a couple pepshrimps in there and they will be on aiptasia watch! I had a really bad case of aiptasia a few weeks ago in my 55g and i added 2 pepshrimps, i would est. within 1.5 weeks ALL of my aiptasia was gone. The aitasia in my tank were huuuge!! yours are still at a very small stage and should be no problem for the shrimps to eat.

I only had a really small one show up in my tank. I covered that dude up with some superglue gel. Never made it out.
