ok i have a 27 gal with a pair of maroon clowns, used to have a condy in the tank. about a week ago i noticed a small aiptasia, i think. It is growing VERY rapidly, but yesterday i noticed the foot looks like the one the condy had, ive never had a aiptasia get this big so not sure if they look the same, is it possible for the condy to 'seed' the rock, and how fast do these things typically grow, and finally if i buy a peppermint shrimp will it bother my crabs, fish eggs from clowns or other anemones????

    Condy Anemone - Condylactis gigantea

they are asexual creatures, but without a pic its hard to tell. peppermint shrimp should eat apatasia, but dont always do, and may bother an anemone.
