My reef has been invaded by these little buggers. I saw one a week ago on the newest frag I picked up and now they are everywhere. What is the best thing to kill Aiptasia? Keep in mind my tank is only a ten gallon with three fish, so I can't add any more fish. Also, I don't want to use chemicals. Lemon Juice or Berghia Nudibranches?
    Thanks for the help.

there are products whose sole purpose is to kill those. try joes juice or aiptasia x. they are reef safe. just make sure you turn off your powerheads so you are hitting the exact spot you want to. i did kill a few zoa heads which came back with time. once the aiptasia has been blasted wait a bit then simply swish the residue into the water

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I do not want to use chemicals. If it killed zoas, that doesn't sound completely safe to me.

boiling water, lemon juice both work. i think boiling water can affect zoas. lol and my emerald crab loves lemon juice! and unless you plan on giving the nudi's a new home with aiptasia i would reccomend againts nudi's because its irresponsible to just get them to know they are going to die

Aiptasia x is completely safe as long as it doesn't get on the other corals. It will kill anything that it gets into but as long as you only squirt the aiptasia it works great. It is safe for your water and won't affect the parameters. I've never tried anything else to get rid of them but good luck.

I know you don't want anymore fish, but you can get one or two peppermint shrimps. They won't get that big, you will hardly see them and you will notice a big difference. I have one in my 29g. Everytime one pops up, it doesn't last for long. The shrimp will search for them and tear them up. I don't use any chems in my tank at all, so I'm with you on that one.

Thanks everybody for the ideas. I am going with the little sea slugs. I setup a small nano just growing aiptasia in it. Once the aiptasia is gone from the tank, I will put in a small rock with them on it for the slugs to chow on. As for the peppermint shrimps, I without thinking put one in and it didn't last long. I forgot I had a Tiger Pistol, I never see him. bye bye peppermint.
