I don't think this is Aiptasia but I can't find anything else. They look like little feathers and suck down into a tube when disturbed, but they are popping up all over the place and look like ugly brown fuzz all over the rocks. Any idea what it is and how to get rid of it?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I am thinking they are hydroids, hard to say for sure from the image. If they are they will sting corals and spread just like pest anemones.

I think that they are hydroids after googling for images. Any idea how to get rid of them?
