    Why do my aiptasia keep coming back?
    I used joes Juice but it seem to just make them move to a new spot on the rock.
    Got any Idea's:confused: :rifle:

    do you have any peppermint shrimp? im telling u my tank was infected badly with those thing, i didnt try joe juice or any chemical and they all got eaten by the shrimp except for the one bigger then a nickel. those i use a tweezer pull them out but then they regrew but in an exceptable size for the shrimp to eat.

    It is possible that you have Aiptasia that are hidden in your rock work that you haven't killed, therefore you will keep seeing them until every one is gone...Get some Peppermint Shrimp!!!!!!!!!!!

    I like to compare aptasia to greek myths, you cut off the head and another one grows back meaner than the one before. I've got one now that I swear has learned me. It stays out while I am doing maint., but the second I put a cutter in the water, it senses it and retracts! :mad:

    Peppermint shrimp is an excellent choice in eradicating Aiptasia, but if they get too large the shrimp will just ignore them. Get a syringe and a needle like diabetics use. Mix some kalk up strong and put the needle in it's mouth and give it about 2cc. It should kill it and the calcium is used in your aquarium anyway.

    How do guys got the syringe into the aiptasia? I have one in the tank and cant get close enough to inject him before he retracts back into his rock??

    You have to move very slowly they can detect changes in water movement
