ok, so since i've set this tank up, in one section of the lr i keep on getting some rather large air bubbles coming up, along with some smaller. Their is a maxijett 1200 placed near the area so could it be the mj causing the air bubbles? So should i try to move my mj somewhere else or just leave it?

could be trapped air on the underside of the rock, from when you put it in there and every so often some of this air gets pushed from the underside and bubbles up to surface

do you have the venturi (air line attachement) fitted to the maxijet so it injects air into the tank?

if not then IMO this will eventually stop once all the trapped air is forced out/ dissolves in the water

then move the power head Puffer chick, because its pushing bubbles under the rock , they are getting full and then bubbling up to the surface

its not much of a problem if you like it really
although bubbles that pop do deposit a little bit of salt on your canopy/ light fixture etc

bubbles in the salt water aquarium, can lead to salt creep issues if they burst near the tanks edges
