    Hello , want to make my own air stones . Cant get limewood up here .so what kind of wood will work ? Meed a soft wood .

    Ok well...is this for a reef tank or?

    Wood is tricky business. Sure you dont just want to buy an air stone? I just dont know what long term effects putting plain O'l wood into ur tank will be...:(
