ajd916 55 gallon tank

finally!!! we upgraded our 37 to a 55 gallon last week. now that pile of equipment in the corner of the living room gets put to good use. we also put the 37 in the bedroom and are thinking about a couple aggressive fish for that one. i took some pics of the transfer. i havent put the protein skimmer on yet because it doesnt fit well with the lid so i have to retrofit that and figure out how to minimize the microbubbles.

 

Thats awsome! congrats on the upgrade.I think a 37 will be to small to house many agressive fish, how about a cool kick butt seahorse tank?!?!

 

im actually moving in 1 year and at that time were upgrading the 55 to a 100+. then we planned to put the occupants of the 37 in the 55 as a final home. my girlfriend really wants a trigger so we were hoping to find one that will make it in a 55. i also want a purple dottyback. we planned on just 2 fish since were keeping them in a 55. were still throwing around ideas now, but i appreciate the input.
