Oh nooooo man I feel your pain.. im still mad my yellow wrasse jumped. Im sorry though that is a bummer I hate when something happens to your favorite fish.. that really sucks im sorry.. you have to get another one that was the coolest fish

 

Yeahhh I read that about your wrasse.. It sucks! I shoulda had my top on though, so its my own fault. I know I'll probably end up getting another hawk. An LFS around me has one that I know of, but it didn't look as good as mine. But we'll see! I'm gunna go out tmrw, and see what I can find

 

Yeahh I'm still learning as I go too brother. Learn from my mistakes.. Make a top and don't buy sick fish! haha

 

Yeah man! From now on I'm taking my own food to the LFS and will never buy fish that will not eat at the store. Not sure they if they were sick, stressed or what but they wouldn't eat for a week then i woke up to them on the sand bed in a corner of the tank....

I'm hoping that my next attempt goes much better. I'll keep them in a QT for a couple weeks and see how it goes. Just gonna enjoy my hermit crabs for the next couple weeks...

 

My next pay check should be huge haha so I plan on getting some new stuff and this weekend I will make a lid !!! I will not buy another fish without a lid >:| seriously.. jumper fish suck

They do suck . I'm getting paid tmrw too, sooo I'll probably make a trip to the LFS then!

I'm pretty up in the air about what type of fish I'll be adding next. I'm pretty sure I want another longnose hawkfish, they just have SO much personality.. Really cool fish. But I'm really open to anything.. Whatever catches my eye or I "can't live without", I suppose..!! I'm open to any suggestions!

 

What's up everyone. I got paid on Friday, soo I went out and bought myself a new buddy. I ended up getting a mandarin I've been eyeing down for a few wks at this LFS. He's in the DT as we speak. No QT for him. I have a lil pod culture going that's been working for awhile, so I'm just gunna add those as I normally do. I want to switch him to prepared foods eventually, I have my fingers crossed. Any tips anyone?

There was also a good looking flame hawk at the LFS yesterday. I'm not sure if I'll end up getting another longnose or the flame.. Decisions decisions!

 

Congrats on the mandarin, it is hit or miss, usually miss on getting the mandarin to eat prepared or frozen foods.

 

Hey yall. I took a trip to the LFS today, and ended up coming home with another new little buddy. I decided to stick with a hawkfish, after my longnose jumped earlier this week. Instead of another longnose, I bought a flame hawk this time. He's a really cool fish. I've been seeing him at the LFS the passed month, so I decided to pull the trigger before someone else did. He'll be in the QT for the next few weeks, until the DT is ready. I can't wait! I'm hoping he's just a personable and friendly as the longnose. Anyways, here's a few fish pics..
