It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Congrats.

I loved my Flame Hawk and never had an issue with it. They look very cool perched on the rock work.

Thanks corailline :). I didn't know you had a flame! I'm just a really big fan of hawkfish in general. I've read a few things about people having aggressive ones, but my old longnose this one so far are really easy going. I love how they perch like that though. So cool!

Well. Yall would think I'd have learned my lesson after the longnose jumped this wk.. But I've been busy and didn't get around to finishing my top. I didn't think anything else would jump, since everything that's in there has been in for awhile. I was just watching a movie, and after it was over I couldn't find my male clownfish. Soo then I look behind the tank on the floor, and there he is. I'm pretty bummed! 2nd jumper in a week. I suspect the female clown scared him and he jumped. Same with the hawkfish. They usually get a little snappy with one another, but that's how they always act. I wish I was there when he jumped! Ima get working on a bad a top and put something temporary over it in the meantime. I'm still in denial haha I really didn't think the clowns would jump since they've been in for so long. Needless to say, I'll never own an open top tank ever again. Haha

Sorry bro, that just blows! I don't even have my 40b yet, but I'm going to get stuff together to make a top now. It'll give me something to do when it's cycling too.

Again sorry, and I hope your luck starts to turn around...

Lol I know it, thats what I said. I have **** for luck. I dont know what the deal is over here. My female clown can be really snappy, so I'm prettttty sure its her fault haha. I hope she doesnt get all depressed now or something, they were always together. I'm gunna be a pain getting a new one. I know she'll probably give it hell.

Mine isn't too too bad. Just snappy. I'm super paranoid about any jumpers now lol. I gotta cut my screen in a few places, so I'll probably do it tmrw since I'm not working. Hopefully it won't be too hard to find her a buddy. Did you see the new hawkfish I got?! :)
