Hehe they can hurt me that's too hardcore. I don't like urchins, fox faces, or bristol worms for that matter just don't like the thought of getting stuck by something unexpectedly... And yes before you ask I am afraid of bees and shots as well...

 

Hey Alec what are u using for media in ur canister?

Those little fluval media balls. Then 2 different kinds of filter floss anddd a little bag of carbon. I change it out like every month and half probably, but re use the balls for a couple months.

 

I picked up a male mccosker's flasher wrasse today. When I saw it, I thought of your wrasse that you have lol.

 

haha very cool. I actually have a carpenters flasher, but yeah they look pretty much the same. I got that new HOB reef octopus by the way.. Its the ****tttt. Made me realize how god awful my old one was lol. Its almost completely silent, and my waters crystal clear.. The pump is a little bulky, but Im gunna hide it behind a rock.

 

Lol, I knew they weren't the same fish, but both are flashers! ;D Very cool about the new protein skimmer. That is the only bad thing about HOB skimmers, the pump has to be in the DT. Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do lol.

 

Yeah as long as it works and everything looks good, I'm not worried about it. I'll post a few pics.
