Inspiring what one can do in a mere 40 gallons.

Thank you :) nice to talk to you again!

Ohh gosh the planet.. If you scroll up a bit you can see where I was talking about having troubles with my sps. I thought it was chemistry issues for the longest time. I had receding tissue from the base up on nearly all my sps. I could never see bite marks and never could catch anything in the act. Till I came across Asterina anomala starfish and figured out that was my problem. So I lost a handful of my old pieces, but everything's coming back around. Im working on a green planet now :)

Does anyone have any long term experience with cyphastrea's? If you look in the picture above, you can see the meteor shower on that rock above. Its been really iffy the passed month or so. There are parts of it that look great, and their are parts that have just seemed to smooth over/die off. Its always grown like a weed in my tank, and I haven't started dosing anything new recently. My first thought is that something is stinging it.. Like the stunner chalice to the right there. So I lopped it in half and now it doesn't even get close and I'm still not seeing it getting better. I have a green cyphastrea literally right above it that grows great with no problems.. And I haven't really moved anything else close to the meteor shower in the passed few months. Still there has to be something I'm overlooking.. Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed!!

I had a Meteor Shower a while back. It wasn't very sensitive, so I would think that something may be bothering it. Cute Firefish, by the way :)

Your tank looks amazing! I am looking at tearing down my 55 gallon and setting up a 25 gallon cube. Seeing your tank makes me really want to do that all that much more. Keep up the great work, it looks great!

Yeahh I agree, I think it just has to be the stunner chalice.. I may just have to put it in a diff tank. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1392853115.247353.jpg

And thank you haha. I've been on the look out for a helfriechi lately to complete the trio.

Thanks! That sounds like it would be a cool little set up.. I'm a big fan of cube tanks.
