Alex's 125 (15ft of tanks of the wall)

Ok ladies and gents, big dsay for my tank. I needed to get donwe my new electrical layout before my hybrid Black tang came in and i DID with a few minutes to spare. Unfortunately I didnt get my rock sold to the dude who came over and checked it out but that can wait.

First off my old system was.... bad... lol. Here is what I did

Cut a 1x12 to fir in under my tank over the sump. Marked the areas my skimmer sat and well as the brackets. Then I srewed in the RA relay box and monted my two power strips with screws.

Here is a shot of I hanging under the tank. I left a gap in front and space above it to hold loose wire and pull them through. I also drilled some hole for 8 gauge wire hooks to help clean it up a bit.

Now the left side is medusa free!

Good thing that you put the VOrTech controllers in a tupperware(?) in case of flooding!

Aaaand I agree with Logan, where is Blackbeard???? (Dont tell us he's in the tank, smarty pants)

 

ok ok, i might not be DONE with the electrical, but its ok. As for the tang its lights out for today boys and girls, Ill ramp everything back up late tomorrow to give him time to acclimate. He is hanging out on the left side of the tank chilling out while the lavender thinks he is tough. Eating plenty of nori for now. I think its going to be important to take out a bunch of my rock because he is BIG.

DAMN! He is big. Looks awesome and already eating, great few days for ya!

 

Tang update. Wife and I spent all day in Shin's town and had a great time! His tank is beautiful and his tang are great! I was envious of a couple of his reefpets acros as well! We hung out, went to his LFS, and I reluctantly made a purchase, a couple of inverts ill talk about later.

Now to the meat and potatoes, the lights came on while i was gone, of course sigh, but it look like there is zero tang on tang aggression. Everybody was minding their own business waiting to be fed.
Blackbeard looks pretty good, but still isn't used to a human presence so I didn't want to stress him out too much but here are a couple 'lights on' pics. Also He wasn'r eating anything, but this is his second day, and im pretty sure he was eating nori when I wasnt looking.
