Well stilling alive for now ;)

Right a bit of an update :)

Finally got down to adding a UV :)

Replaced my halides with a new 6 tube ATI that was a decent price, added a couple of aquarays and a power controller so I can have a lighting storm in the living room whenrver I want.

Also added a nice 300 watt digital thermometer so I can see the temp without having to twist my way into the sump to see, also I was seeing my 100w heater was starting to struggle to keep up to temp :fbounce:

Also gave a couple of the big sps away before I broke them up anymore, the ones ive kept are doing really nice at the moment.

Picked up another bullseye pistol which I was seriously apprehensive about adding with my other pistol but 2 weeks down the road there have been no issues :)

Also banged a gorgeous blood shrimp in, at a fiver I couldnt turn it down. :flower:

Also added a few new corals, a hammer a couple of zoa frags, a couple of gonis, a stunning short pink polyp goni, a purple alvepora and a lovely trachy and a purple and green montastrea

oh and a pair of mandies :)

a few pics, hope you like them :)

    Hi all

slight update. the 2 foot cubes days are numbered, just bought a 200 gallon system. (150 display / 50 sump)

As the front panel was too scratched for me I am using the back of the tank for the front as its mint :) Means re-drilling for the drain and return but shouldnt be too much of a problem (I hope) and plugging the existing holes and removing the weir.

Will be drilling the back wall and having the drain and return come from there rather than going through the base. By doing it this way I will not need to have a weir inside the dank.

    Pics to follow :)

    Hey ;)

Interesting it is lol My missus isnt too impressed on where I planned on moving the tank too so now so I am having to reasses my ideas :p

Looks like I can go with the rear plumbing as in the alcove where it is no would make servicing impossible. ::)

Anyway right about now my head is mashed lol

Right well its been a few weeks since I updated the thread.

Everything has been plodding along nicely :)

Still lots of thing to do tidying the cabinet and finding some acrylic to cover the pipework at the from. I still havent sourced the 45 and 90 degree joint i need, well i did but when they arrived they wouldnt fit lol.

Also picked up 3 frags from a large online seller that were meant to be ultra hong kong zoas, and when they arrived were very run of the mill, 3 frags, each about the size of a 10p piece for £50. Not happy.

Also a few other odds and sods. Also got the BM skimmer working, doing a decent job :) also got an ozone that i am running for an hour a day. To finish of the lighting also added a pair of reef blue aquarays for evenings and look great.

Still need to pick up a few timers, and some door nobs for the cabinet.

    well heres a few pics
