My Blenny is more like what Packleader has said - he is doing ok now, but I may need to give him to the LFS. He has been looking a little thinner than normal lately, but has come out a ton more too.. I've tried sinking pellets and he doesn't touch them, or mysis. I'll try soaking it in garlic and see if that helps... Otherwise my Blenny is going to find a new home. Great fish to watch, just don't want him to starve...

I have tried only frozen brine. It's been roughly about 3 weeks that I noticed his stomach kinda caving in. He has been in my tank for about 4 months and started out ok. He's always looked like he swallowed a marble. I started using ferric oxide about a month a ago to control some nuisance algae and I'm starting to wonder if this contributed reducing his natural food source. I just started feeding spirulina flakes about a week ago and noticed that he gets excited and swims around like mad during feedings, but never actually eats the flakes. This is different in the sense that he has never shown any interest in the other things I've feed the tank.

good point about the ferric oxide, I put ChemiPure in my wet/dry about a month ago and am wondering if it has killed off too much of my blennie's food source.

    Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I looked at my Blennie's stomach and it looks ok. Also, I have noticed that he is nipping at the live rock. So, I am hoping that he is okay for now.

They will sustain themselves on live rock, so that's good, but having a microalgae population is good for these guys. Don't kill off his food, lol.

In all seriousness, it sounds like you'll be just fine.

try feeding him some seaweed. live stuff. if he doesn't eat live ulva something is very wrong with the poor guy. romaine lettuce while not that nutritious usually brings about feeding too, but not like ulva. good luck!
