Algae eating fish not a tang

    I want one that will eat some algae mine in the tank is very minimal. I have a foxface in another tank but he's not too helpful.

    I'd prefer to stay away from tangs for a while until my tanks are more stable I have a scopas in one and I had terrible ich battle with him when I got him.

    Also what is a good way to disinfect a qt tank I lost some clowns to brookynella that were in qt this week. It's been dry for 3 days on the patio in the sun I washed with hot water and vinegar anything else I should do

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I would not be concerned, the fresh hot water and that fact that you dried for days will be enough to kill Brookynella.
