    I noticed a new algae growing in my 45 gal tech tank, I think it may be Neomeris annulata but I cant tell, any help is much appreciated

    it is gark florescent green, 5 or 6 finger like pieces protruding from the rock
    it is not furry at the tips nor does it have a white calcirus base but neomeris was the closest match to its aapearence

    I will try to get a pic up asap

    It doesn't appear to be Neomeris annulata, but I don't see anything close to this on my usual identification site.. Marine Plants in the Aquarium

    Is that the actual picture of the algae in your tank?


    It looks like some kind of macro algae that would actually be beneficial.
