    If your RO water is 50 TDS after going through the RO membrane, then you either need a new membrane, or need to replace all your prefilters and RO membrane. Your source water sounds bad, 750 ppm is a lot at the tap, I have around 70-80 ppm at my tap. This can create a constant problem, something you might have to fight off for awhile. I know that people use water with high TDS and get away with it, but it sounds like your source contains substances that fuel algae outbreaks. Since that's the case, I would highly recommend using water with 0 ppm TDS.
