Algae popping up on sand during cycle???

    Our Pico is about 2 weeks into its cycle and this brown algae is popping up pretty steady all over the sand and on the rocks a bit. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? Here are a few pics:

    that is a really good sign.. ( life is growing in your tank)

    it should go away in some time :)

    Cool figured that was a good sign but thought we should ask in case. Should we bother cleaning anything or just let it stay?

    yeah just leave it.. if you clean it its going to come back anyways. so i would just leave it there.
