    Thanks for posting your tank parameters. I agree with jcJokr, I would max out your light at 12 hour total. Stop with the Purple up because we really don't know what is in it and continue doing what your doing. Make sure the flow in the tank has no dead spots

    I usually do the water changes once a month but since the levels are fine maybe every other month

    I have to figure out how to cut the lights back would cutting the moonlights back be good or the other stages

    Vinny, I think there needs to be a sticky needless "gimick" products, its calling your name to be written.

    Moonlights are simply for your viewing pleasure. You need to cut out your other lighting. 18 hours is an incredibly long time, imo. The Sunshine State is receiving 14 hours (sunrise to sunset) of daylight a day right now. I leave my lights on 10-12 hours a day with t-5s and many people say LED lighting should be left on even shorter than that.
