Algae ?

    I have been cycling my tank for about a month already and it has live sand and LR. I am starting to see my rocks are turning a little green, and I believe it is algae. Is it normal to leave it ?

    I also noticed some part of the sand is starting to turn brown, maybe algae too ?

    any idea ?

    It's fairly normal. Once Ammonia hits zero and you add a clean up crew, they'll eat these microalgaes off of the rocks.
