Algagen

Me and the wife got to meet Erik Stenn, the owner of algagen. What a great learning experience we had. Our LFS had him come in for a nice 2 hour seminar. I never knew how important plankton is for our reefs and fish. Erik was a down to earth person with a passion for what he does. He truly loves his work and goes the extra mile make sure we as hobbyists get the freshest product available. It was amazing to hear the entire process of algagen products.

 

Any specific advice you heard that you'd care to share SS? On a side note, it looks like you have a pretty awesome LFS!

 

I'm very greatful to have the LFS that I have here. I just bought a chevron tang for 75 dollars! The amount I learned is to much to type. I know now that the importance of zoo and phytoplankton for my reef is unmeasurable. I think a lot of my success has been keeping the tank fed. Its neat to learn how much algagen puts in to get us true live products.
