algas with bubble

    hi
    i insert new rocks one month ago and now i have algas on it and also on a montipora of which i enclose a photo..and very rare ones on old rock.
    what can i do?
    tanks is 8 months old, i use zeostart each day i have po4 at zero no3 at 2,5.

    point a powerhead at it would be what i would do

    hows your lighting? could it be time for lamp replacement or upgrade? a i agree point a power head at it.

    Don't see a montipora in that photo. I see a long dead coral skeleton covered in some corraline and what looks to be some bubble algae on the left side.

    light is new. 2x250 hqi 10000k +2x54wt5 attinic.

    i try to put a powerhead in that direction

    seems a skeleton but it is really a montipora???? bought one month ago.

    still just see a dead coral skeleton with corraline and algae.
    Any other thoughts from anybody?
