I recently lost my Niger Trigger, in FOWLR, 96 gallon aquarium.I've got a Luna Wrasse, Fu Man Chu lion, and Voltains Lion, still in tank.
I wasn't planning on adding any more fish, but i've got an alge problem, and was wondering if i could add a fish, replacing the Niger, that may eat the alge?
I'd love an Angel, but not sure they will solve the problem.

    Any suggestions

red alge. Only a problem growing on the rocks, not anywhere else.
Have some green growing on the rocks, also, but not as much as the red.

I also don't want to overcrowd the tank.

I agree, I havent seen anything eat the Red. If it were Green, hair algea > Im a STRONG believer in the Algea Bleeny but dunno how big your Lions are... You do have a wrasse so the Blenny should be fine if its an adult.
They are awesome lawn mowers. Mine mowed a tank LOADED to point I was going to give up and now, I have no problems with Hair.. as for the Red, My Gorgonias get it all the time!

From what i've heard, Tangs of the Ctenochaetus genus are great detritus and micro algae eaters - the other genus' are mostly macro eaters. I would look further into this though as I have no personal experience with this.

really wanted to stay away from the Tangs, as i've got 3 in my reef, and also the Ich problem tht comes with owning them.
I was really hoping a Queen Angel would do it, as i've wanted one of those, for a while.
