    alien babies growing out of bubble coral? lol

    ok, theres something growing outta my bubble coral. im stumped. lookin like a scene out of "aLien". the 2nd is a greyish bubble thats gotten quite large. even coraline growing on it. all and any help is mucho appreciated. and yes the aiptasia is on its way out. thnx all.

    bubble algae isnt just green? also thought it had a small stalk. newb question.

    if it is bubble algae, at that size, getting an emerald crab to eat it would be just about the same as you popping it. they can't eat bubble algae that big.

    not sure whats wrong with the bubble sorry

    Wow, that's weird. I feel the same way jake does..........Emeralds cant eat the bubble algae whole, so popping it is going to have about the same effect. Just try not to miss any pieces when you do take it out.

    that last photo is bubble algae with an aiptasia attached to it.

    The first two pics looks like the Bubble Coral is "spitting" out something, waste maybe?

    that might be gettin closer luna. is it possible thats like an "intestine" of the bubble. just weird the color, which is red. only thing i feed it myself is mysis. untahed ,so not a forzen clump. talked to 3 other reef keepers, theyre stumped too. but one guessed som,ething alongs the lines you were going on.
