alien slug thing with pods???

    What you described sounds like a limpet.

    im not sure about the flat worm... i have the identical things in my tank and they dont appear to have any shell.

    Doubt its a flat worm. i have what looks like the same things in my tank. It appears to me they are some type of snail. I have actually felt them and mine has what feels like a shell on them. I mostly see mine on the back glass and overflows where there is more algae growth from not cleaning it.

    The problem with different people saying they have the same thing and that theirs do or do not have shells is that there are a lot of different animals that may look superficially similar, but may not be very closely related at all. If we are looking at the dorsum in the pics, and not the crawling surface, I also think it's a variant of acoel flatworm. However, it could also be a juvenile limpet (fissurellid), especially if the pic is of the foot rather than the dorsum. I'm pretty sure it's not a Stomatella. The semi-forked tail isn't typical of trochids, but usually suggests that the animal is a flatworm.

    i would say its some type of flat worm,stomatella or limpet

    It is a flatworm I went through this not long ago myself.
