I have a 65 gal tank dominated with SPS. I accidentally left my doser on for 5 hours and half of my sodium bicarbonate reservoir dosed in my tank. Salifert test is off the scale +16, so I don't really know how much is in the there. All I know is that the entire tank is cloudy white.

Any suggestions anyone? Can I neutralize with vinegar or do I have to move everything out. Or is the tank crashed.

Water change is the first thing i would do, Next would be to set up a QT tank to start relocating some one if they begine to liik bad, next would be to wait and do damage control. remove the water in 20% increments once a day untile you get in back to normal and prepare for a minie cycle. Sorry to hear that happened but pick yourself up and learn from your mistake.

Remember, pH and Alkalinity are different. Vinegar won't lower your KH but it sure would drop your pH. Your SPS like stability. Drastically dropping your pH would harm them further.

You need to do a waterchange.

water changes are your best bet. to lower it. but you dont want to go too quickly or you will add more stress.
