    Dead spots depends on what you do with the rocks and how many powerheads you have & how you set them up. I have 2 powerheads and the return and have one dead spot somewhere no matter how I arrange them. Well, actually I just changed their flow direction yesterday and I think I've eliminated any dead spots, hopefully.

    wait..... you can glue rocks?! with what? super glue?

    Yeah you can glue your rocks with superglue. If you want to glue them.. use a super glue gel. For some reason im against gluing them though

    plumbers epoxy or the coral epoxy works well for sticking rocks together. its like a putty and will harden underwater as well.
