    Me too!

When I asked her of course she did not do it, but she did blame it on the dogs. I should of known the dogs would of opened the cabinet, moved things around, then unplug just the right plug.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe I can make money of my smart dogs.

Yep, very glad that it was not the 100 gal. I think I would of curled up in a ball or went postal.

I finally found a way to deal with my over population of bristle worms.

Thank you everyone for the advise. Did not think about using the water out of the 100gal. While it is sad, I am excited about doing the tank up right. Learned much since the days that I orignally set up that tank. Can use this time to correct some things I know better on now.

Hate to see the creatures suffer, that is the worse part of it all.

Will probally higher the LFS to watch the tank next time I head out of town. That way if something happens I can let off some steam. Hard to take out the steam on someone trying to help out.

Yeah.....and you may want to check your dogs for opposable thumbs. There would be even more money in that.

I think they crawled in there wagged their tails enough that it bumped it long enough to knock it out!

No, they didn't wag the tail.....they carefully wrapped the tail around the cord and pulled. That would make much more sense........

this is exactly why you should set up a nanny cam in your house while your away to watch your sitter. she probably put a pipe in the tank and used it like a bowl to smoke meth.

she had to turn it off because all the water movement was making smoke go every where.

Ok so which was it? The tequilla or the meth? Or BOTH?

And the idea of the house sitter and her boyfriend spending time in your house while you were away is probably the most disturbing thought I've heard all day. Just saying...:inquisiti

They also wore a rubber glove on the tail to keep from getting zapped.
All kidding aside though, I would check for things that might have been stolen too. Sorry about your loss, 30G may not be "big" but it is enough to lose a lot of life. :(
