Almost Dead Goby?

For about 2 weeks by sleeper banded goby has been looking skinny. He's never been as agressive as the other fish at feeding time, but when I saw him getting skinny I fed more/different foods for him. He does come out and eat, but I guess it's not enough. I went back to the petstore where I got him from, and there were a few left that looked just like him. Maybe something is missing in his diet? I feed frozen, flake, and pellet small amounts once a day. Algae clips every few days, and I even bought some algae wafers for him that stay at the bottom of the tank. I never tried to spot feed him because he's timid, but maybe that's the anwser if it's not too late. Today he's look much worse than before, and hasn't been active at all.

 

qt tanks are very important i use mine to get my fish healthy before putting in the main display tank its also easier to feed skinny lil fish maybe set up a 10g and acclimate the fish and try using garlic to get his appetite back

 

yeah... he's not a new fish. I've had him for at least 3 months now, and didn't look unhealthy until recently.

 

He is pretty much upside down now still breathing though, he has been under rocks for the past week so its been hard to see if he is ok, i noticed he was a bit lathargic but seemed ok when i annoyed him with a laser, it was only till tonight that i saw him float out towards a powerhead, he still has the strength to get away from it but pretty much just sits on the bottom of the qt tank i just moved him over to, any suggestions? is he too far gone?
