I have posted about having cloudy water for about two weeks now and nothing has cleaned it up. Some have said cycling some have said bacteria bloom but it looks like dust all over my Koralia and I don't see that in any other tank I look at.

Here some pictures to show the stuff floating around in my water!
Please help me get this out somehow!

See how unclear the water looks? It looks like tiny particles are everywhere. Like saly or dirt or something.

mine looked like that yesterday when i blew off my rocks, are the powherheads directed towards the rocks at all, and possibly blowing debris off of them?

It is actually pointing towards the glass and I have turned everything off for over 48 hours, powerhead wise, and the water was still the same.

    Thanks though.

What are you running filtration wise?

It actually does look like a bacteria bloom. My tissue culture flasks in the lab look like that when they get contaminated (so frustrating).

alright well i have a few ideas here:
    1. how well did you wash the sand when you put it in?
    2. the dust on powerheads is dead phytoplankton... phytoplankton feeds off of silicates so do you use tap water or was the sand that you put in man-made?
    3. If its a bacteria bloom then it is a very big one for going on two weeks so i doubt that it is that...
    4. have you tried any different medias/filter floss/micron filters in a mechanical filtration device?
