Like others have said, cut back on your purple up. Once a week should be fine. Also go with some Bacter 7 or other bacteria conditioner, because if its not the purple up, it looks like a massive bacteria bloom. The Bacter 7 will help out with that.

Good luck - oh, and unless your tank test readings are way off, try doing a water change every two - three weeks. (Unless your tank is crazy dirty).

Again........."Do yourself a favor and buy a Poly Filter pad and see if it clears things up. I am betting it will. I would also back off the weekly water changes. Add some live bacteria a couple times a week for one week to bolster the biological base."

Might be because his calcium keeps falling out of solution.

... his dKH may be too high causing the calcium to "fall out". A high PH makes it worse.... I think.

If this is true (and we don't know that it is) great caution must be exercised. Excerpt from article; "The tragedy of the event for a system suffering from this condition is that the reaction must run its course before corrective measures can be taken. The addition of buffers in an attempt to counter the declining alkalinity serves only to feed the precipitous reaction. An aquarist is resigned to watch the spawn of his error to completion, which leaves the buffering
capacity of the system at a dangerously low level. The stress of the sudden change in water quality can be significantly harmful to marine organisms as well."
