Has anyone or does anyone know if 90% pure sulfur granules from a feed store serve as a decent replacement for the sulfur media used in the denitrator? I found a feed store that has a 50lb bag for $25 vs. a 1 gallon container from a retailer for around $80. Please chime in if you have heard anything negative with using any other kind of sulfur besides the one sold for aquarium use or what % purity it has to be in order to be used.

I would stick with something that is reef tested, marine depot has sulfur media for $20 bucks!
