Alternatives to floats to stop skimmer overflows

    I'm looking to install something in the lid of the Avast Marine swabbie I have on order. I want some added protection from overflows and am willing to invest in something if there is anything better than a float switch. Anyone have any suggestions?

    I want to control it with my apex.

    I had that skimmer on my last setup, with the swabbie and drained it out into a two liter bottle. Had to empty it out about every three weeks. Idk what your lookin to achieve but just thought I'd let you know that's a sweet skimmer you got there:)
