So LFS sold me some zoo-plankton for this coral and said to get a plastic cup and place it over the coral and inject the cup with the zoo and let it sit for 15 min..This proved to be damn near impossible for me to do.Its branching so there is no cup big enough to fit over the whole thing and to do on branch at a time is hard as well because placing the cup over one branch the way they sit is against all laws of physics.cups float and like to float up upright my branches sick out horizontally. So i just target fed the coral and they arnt a grabbing coral so that did nothing but polute the water in my tank with zoo-plankton. I have done google searched about this coral and cant find a right or wrong answer about feeding so can someone please tell me how to care for this thing.Ive had it a little less then a week and its starting to turn a shade darker then when i got it

On the other hand the yellow star polyps loved the plankton..lol..at least they had a feast.

Instead of a cup try using a 2liter pop bottle (or smaller) cut in half and place over coral with neck facing up. Using turkey baster give her a squirt :) otherwise just turn off your flow and using turkey baster give her a gentle squirt :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I believe that a slurry of different types of both phytoplankton and zooplankton. This would be a mixture of different food types, mixed to very small fine particulate matter. There are some very good foods on the market now for NPS corals that would probably do a fine job. The average coral food product like marine snow, or any other product that focuses on just one food type like oyster eggs or cyclops may not meet the nutritional needs.
