I could be wrong, but I've never seen a Galaxea "flat" so to speak. All the ones that I've seen are round in shape, but like I said, I could be wrong. Luna

If it wasn't extended at the lfs, it probably was never healthy. You should make sure to buy only healthy looking specimens. I know this can be hard, the coral would have been a great piece, but it's very unlikely it will recover.

Here is the latest pic. My lights aren't on yet so it's just the moonlight. As you can see the polyps are still fluorescing so I'm hoping it's not completely dead. I'll leave it in there and hopefilly it doesn't turn into a piece of LR. I bought a xenia frag on a skeleton a while ago and after about two weeks I saw it start to glow under the actinics. I played the waiting game and all of a sudden I had candy canes growing, I now have nine heads of it. I wouldn't have thought it could happen so I am hoping the same here. Only difference is that was a bonus and this I paid for. Lesson learned about buying questionable corals.

I hope it makes it too. It sucks that your LFS would sell an unhealthy speciment to you though. Now this is off subject, but do you have more pics of your anemone that you can post? The one in your avatar looks a bit bleached too.
