i got about 12lbs of live rock once live and i nucked it

    here's what i did

day one washed all sand off with tap water

day 2 bleached it with 2 9oz cups of bleach in a 5 gallon bucket

day 3 empied the bucket and replaced it with regular tap water and changed the water every day for 4 days

day 7 replaced the water with ro/di water with backing soda mixed in (that sat for 3 days)

day 10 replaced that with regular ro/di water stayed like that for 2 days with me moving the rocks every so ofthen

now i put the rocks in the 5 gallon bucket with saltwater and a filter from my main tank with 8 snails and 2 BL harmits the filter has a black sponge type thing that has bacteria in it forom my main tank

    did i do this right?
    is this the last step?
do i add the rocks to my tank next?
how long should i keep it in the bucket?

it's base rock now yeah, you need to cycle it before you use it in a tank though

I would just check for pH.. if good then add to tank.. if your tank has more LR in it then it'll seed it.. No cycle (I'm assuming your tank is already running) for the rock because there is nothing living on the rock and therefore no die-off. GL with this venture, I'm not sure if your process is correct though.. i've never done it personally.. I have a CUC to take care of nuissance algae and I (usually - knock on wood) welcome hitchhikers.
P.S. You could in the future just buy Base Rock (Aragonite Rock) and could bypass the entire nuking process.
