That is pretty neat. I bet you get a nice view looking down onto the rock work instead of straight back at it.

It's almost like a bow front look but without the distortion.

What a cool tank Mike the angles remind me of some Japanese tanks I've seen. (At least the angled glass in front - don't think I've seen an A-Frame though!)

That light appears to be AquaRay's - carried by 3reef Sponsor Dr.Tim:

    Love it! 8)

Pretty cool tank, but does that angle cause any distortion? It appears to be designed to be viewed from above as the angle would better match a person looking down at it. I've never seen a tank like that in person and was just curious if the angles affect the view.

Correct. TMC AquaRays (US Distributor is Quality Marine if Mike wants to get them for his store).

Mike's got Jake within spitting distance, he should know more about LEDs then any of us  (see you in a couple weeks Mike)

FWIW it reminds me of numerous slant angle tanks (clam tanks) I have seen over the years. His front pane angle is much less then I normally see though, very cool.

can we get a close of the the woodwork detail?

Very true. Seems he's been pretty busy lately though. He hasn't been in for awhile.
