I don't know if this has been discussed here lately, but it's worth mentioning. I subscribed to Amazon Prime about 6 months ago so I could order books and get them sent to me for free with 2-day shipping.

Recently I've been noticing that Amazon offers a number of aquarium supplies through prime as well. Most notably for me is salt. I just placed an order for a 175g salt bucket - I'll get it in two days, no shipping charge and I don't have to drive 20 min to the store to get it.

I also just ordered a 50lb bag of dog food. Love that too, especially since my door is two flights of stairs down from street level and the packages get dropped there. So:

    - No trip to the store
    - No shipping charges
    - No carrying 50lb+ stuff down the stairs

Good call. I used Prime for almost everything in my tank. I just used it to buy a bucket of IO salt for $35. I love me some Prime.
