it's part of my job to bath cats and dogs. I seriously have no idea why people want their cats to have a bath. Most cats surprisingly give up once the water hits them, but soo many fight it and boy do they fight back. I got bit really really bad once while giving a cat a bath, my work sent my to the emergency room at a near by hospital because we weren't sure if the cat had rabies yet *it was a new client* a really fat 20 pound cat. Bit my arm left 4 deep blood gushing sores. The doctors made me scrub it with bedadine scrub, they gave me some kind of shot *no idea what for* and a wrap to try to keep my bite wound coverd.

After this job i hate cats, lol did i tell you guys a cat gave me a black eye by swatting at me with it's razor sharp nails, left me a black eye for a week.

So if any cat owners who want to have their cats bathed, PLEASE DON'T DO IT! for the sake of those of us who end up bathing it. lol

No no no, you got it all wrong. There is a very easy process to bathing cats. And it's available as an instructional video:

BAWHAHAHAHAHHA lol this video is funny. lol especially the suit and throwing the cat down in the tub.

What we do at my work:

Before Bath:
1.Clip Nails
2.Clean Ears
3. Brush out Mats
4. Put Harness on cat

For Us:
1. Put on Apron so to try to stop us from getting soaked

During the bath:
1. Anal Glands
2. Turn Water on
3. Cover hand over water hose
4. Put water on cat
5. Cat Freaks Out
6. Cat still freaks out
7. Cat freaks out even more
8. cat gives up *only some*
9. Shampoo *one mad cat*
10. Turn water back on
11. cat freaks out again
12. still freaking out
13. again, still freaking out
14. cat gives up
15. Rinse

After Bath:
1. Undo harness
2. Partially dry with towel
3. Put cat in dryer
4. If cat sitll wet later on, use blowdryer *like the one they said not to use lol*
5. now you have one pissed of cat

lol so this is my instructions on how to bathe a cat

OK, so I logged on tonight just to watch the video. I had a cat that loved drinking out of the tap but he wasn't ever stupid enough to stick his head under the water
