Ammonia level b/t 0 - 2.5

    I would be more concerned that the ammonia has gone all the way up to 2.5, thats a pretty big spike for a 120 gallon tank to be caused by just a dead 1" fish.
    Before doing/dosing anything I would maybe see if you cant find your hippo and get it out of there, then see if it comes down by itself

    I just looked at my ammonia card. I misread it... it was .25

    I would, just keep checking it. Like Pack said tho, try to see if you cant get the hippo out.
